Our history

Ghisafon was founded in 1964 as manholes and cast-iron grills'foundry. Ghisafon, in the 90's, specialized in sale of these products on the application of UNI EN 124. For more than 40 years it is the manufacturer of the syphon called TYPHON.This syphon is made of plastic material (polypropylene). It is fixed inside the lamellar and spheroidal cast-iron grills and it's necessary to avoid the emission of bad smells.

This syphon is made up of a drip tray and a funnel assembled with inox screws.

This syphon system for lamellar and spheroidal cast-iron grills has been adopted by the most producers of lamellar and spheroidal cast-iron grills with good results.
The syphon TYPHON is manufactured in a company certified to the CISQ – UNI ISO 9002.
